Barcelona’s signings have never been secretive. Months before official signings occur, details are leaked on social media through one or more reliable journalists, which could be either be a strategic way to get fans talking or plain incompetence. One way or another, fans know about a potential signing much before it happens, and the next player in line to receive that treatment is Sergio Aguero.
Aguero’s signing was given Fabrizio Romano’s famous ‘here we go’ on 21st May, making it unofficially official. However, the announcement and presentation are due today, with Barcelona’s official website showing details of the same. According to the screenshot, Aguero will be presented as a Barcelona player at 6:15 PM Central Europe time (CET).

The Argentine, joining on a free transfer, will pen down a two-year contract with the Catalan giants. It is a much-welcomed signing by the fans, with the player being a fan-favourite years before the signing actually took place. His relationship with Lionel Messi also makes him an exciting prospect. Additionally, with the team suffering the consequences of not having a striker, Aguero is expected to fill those boots and deliver every now and then.
